At least in Windows, the first line, captioned "GNC_USERDATA_DIR", can
be a bit misleading to the novice. The location shown is for user data,
true, but specifically configuration data, not the transaction database.

For the location of user transaction data it's necessary to hover the
mouse over a file in the MRU (most recently used) list near the bottom
of the File menu, which causes the file path to appear in the status
line at the bottom of the window. (At least it does in Windows; I think
I recall that in some platforms it does not.)
