At least in my initial testing, this does not work. While you can place
two transaction reports in a Custom Multi-Column report, and you can set
the options for each independently, (say one for Revenue, the second for
Expenses) the results do not display and the message to set report
options doesn't go away.
You *can* click the 'single report' link to see those individual
results, but that is no different than creating two independent reports
in separate tabs. It won't show both report results at once for some reason.
Also, at some point of playing with options while in 'single report
view' you can't use the back button to return to the multi-column
version, essentially leaving you stuck in whatever individual report you
were playing with.
