I can't distribute alpha-level code to my user base except for limited testing (even if it's labeled as a beta -- you should consider unfreezing A7 because Teh Functionality is already mostly there.) --BTW, I have now arrived in South Carolina (Rock Hill area)** and my situ should be stabilized (w/ Broadband access) for about a week before I have to find someplace else to stay, so PLEASE let's ramp up the Nexenta development + testing. Fix the b0rked sunwtoo pkg, give us the latest ZFS code, and let's kick this into High Gear(TM.) Huzzah! ** And there was much rejoicing. kingneutron wrote: > > --We need to offer Nexenta users a value-add to get them to try the distro > (ZFS is my primary concern, but others are in it for zones and stuff that I > don't know about // gets little press) or they'll go somewhere else (freebsd, > etc) when the opensolaris//open-sourced tech catches up. > > --Having broken packages to where the system is unusable / out of date for > undetermined periods of time doesn't help. ;-) > _______________________________________________ gnusol-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sonic.net/mailman/listinfo/gnusol-devel
