--Debian as a basic (no-X) server system already fills the role that Nexenta is 
currently working on (as of current Beta status.)  Quite small footprint when 
installing from net, everything is an apt-get away.

--We need to offer Nexenta users a value-add to get them to try the distro (ZFS 
is my primary concern, but others are in it for zones and stuff that I don't 
know about // gets little press) or they'll go somewhere else (freebsd, etc) 
when the opensolaris//open-sourced tech catches up.

--Having broken packages to where the system is unusable / out of date for 
undetermined periods of time doesn't help. ;-)
