Why have you descided to opt for a own "distro" (nextena), instead of using debian. Just could have just done like the debian/hurd or debian/kfreebsd people are doing: stack the debian OS on top of an alternative kernel (in this case, the opensolaris kernel). You can then work from there on and add the typical solaris-features (like zones) to it. Again, don't get me wrong. I'm not critizing anybody or anything here. (I have learned not to critize things I get for free. :-)) I'm just interested in the question why this route was taken. Cheerio! Kr.
