In addition to not knowing the correct definition of
casteism (please see his quote appended below),
Gilbert seems to have misunderstood the main point of
this thread. The principle of caste blindness does not
recognize any caste whatsoever, whether it is "upper",
"lower" or "other". Under this principle, education,
opportunities, social services, recognition, and so on
are provided to all individuals equally.
