Caste-blindness implies the continuity of caste. In contrast, the
anti-casteists on Goanet are endeavouring to eradicate caste and not sustain it
for a day longer than necessary. Have you forgotten that race-blindness was
readily dropped as a strategy where it mattered and that, the busing strategy
in America gave way to direct confrontation against racism? And of course, the
radical policy worked just as in South Africa against apartheid. Further, the
Goanet anti-casteists have all the empowerment needed right now to undermine
all those covert Catholic Goan casteists who seem to be making pretty dismal
progress in terms of any intelligent and informed input on this issue. So,
Nasci, welcome on board. Please join us, as the progressives, against the caste
dinosaur reactionaries in Goa and the Goan Diaspora. They desperately want the
abomination of caste/casteism to continue just as reactionary Australians are
against good folk like you as newcomers to Australia and
shamefully resent the legitimate 'owners' of Australia--- the aboriginals.
