This imposition of the parochial beliefs of one religion on secular
society and all people, including people belonging to other religions and
non-religious mindsets is worse than I thought.

***We cannot dance at the tune of scientists and politicians.
1.There is no evidence that homosexuality has a genetic origin.
Further, hormonal disturbances do not account for most cases of true inversion.
Psychogenic explanation is accepted today by large number of experts:
According to Sigmund FREUD, homosexuality results from an unresolved Oedipus complex. Others explain the condition as a neurosis airisng from fear of the other sex, especially of the genital organs considered as dangerous and destructive. Overpossessiveness of a mother may prevent a boy from identifying with the male sex. A too close maternal attachment may later cause guilt feelings in a boy in relating to a woman sexually. Seduction of a youth may lead to a homosexual fixation when there is already a latent tendency. A too puritanical upbringing may lead to aversion from physical aspects of normal sex, while developing a strong emotional attachment to persons of the same sex. While the current campaign of homosexuals for social recognition is understandable, it is becoming more and more clear that homosexuality is a sign of psycho-sexual immaturity. Homosexual behaviour can never be considered normal. It can never be positively approved of. Every effort should be made to restore the person to normality Since there are vast differences in the etiology, kind and degree of homsexuality, individual approach in therapy is essential.

2.Older books were saying that there is no homosexual behaviour among animals. The argument would be that instinctively it would be repugnant. But there are scientific studies of homosexual animal behaviour. Yet, rational human beings are different and cannot behave like animals.

The splitting of hairs above indicates that the criminalization of innocent people is not
restricted to just homosexuals any more. Practically anybody, including
married and unmarried adult heterosexuals who engage in any behavior that
is deemed to be homosexual and non-procreative in nature are being judged
by this autocratic and intrusive religious ideology to be "deviant",
immoral and criminal.
***Homosexual acts are no certain proof of true homosexuality. They may be a mere substitute for heterosexual relations in abnormal conditions, like in prisons. The difference between true inversion and a temporary stage of homosexual attraction in adolescence must be carefully noted. It should be clear that conjugal acts have double dimension: unitive as expression of love; and procreative, as expression of life-giving love. There is no dichotomy between love and life. It will be deviant when it is enslaving the person, treating as a mere object of pleasure, without the personal dimension, as sex maniacs and sadists would to. This is not conjugal love, according to human reason and universal ethical values. The Catholic Church expresses it clearly in her teaching about marriage and family.
