In fact, i can't even access ANY googlecode projects (mine that are still active or other projects) with my account. It seems like my account was purely blocked without any notice to me. The only email i received is a mail from zorkzero which is a copypaste from this thread original post... i answered him explaining my case but i got no response from him (i don't think he is interested anyway) and simply noticed yesterday my account was suspended and the project not accessible anymore. I tried to contact a googlecode administer but got no response yet.
I must say I find the overall method (shutting down a project on an anonymous delation without contacting project owner) quite offending to say the least, especially when, i repeat, the source code is open as being up-to-date and available for anyone to compile, that this has always been encouraged on the project page, just that original authors are simply asking to release ports of their work free of charge just like they have been doing since the start, with no profits in mind other than emulation knowledge and hardware documentation. I may also add that emulators have always been in a sort of grey area, so trying to make money out of them is just asking for potential trouble and this is not only about respecting original authors goals but also protect them... Again, i understand it's not 100% compatible with FSF philosophy, but i would never have thought this specific definition would now become the generalized norm and that anything that that does not fit exactly should be "ashamed", as written in an above post, and banned from googlecode. Really, I am just a hobbyist developer who always documented and shared everything he has coded, i am no lawyer or free software integrist and i don't understand that people like me are the ones that have to justify themselves...
