Considering the little time between rounds, shouldn't coders be allowed to participate in further rounds even if they advanced? It is unlikely we will have official results for 1A before the beginning of 1B.
Even if we control ourselves and avoid competing in further rounds when we know we advanced, some people will still have no idea whether they advanced or not. Consider a coder that was 1020th in round 1A, he will have to participate in 1B/C because it appears he didn't advance, but then if 5 days later, 20 guys on the top 1000 from 1A are eliminated, he would have participated in 1B/C even though he already advanced...
