Adobe's 3D api can provide 1000x performance improvements. Yes, that an "x" not a "%". This is especially true for 3D maps. The performance levels could be near google earth's performance levels. The question is what is google doing about it? Are they developing using the 3D api, or sticking to CPU based API's.
See: Away3D or http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplatformruntimes/features/stage3d.html for a sample of performance. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
