Here's a little story, almost entirely off-topic:

I'll start by saying that I truly love America and the "American Way"
of doing things, much more than the European, and I really wish I
could live there.

Americans seem to be way more practical and have a "Nike" philosophy
of "just do it", while Europeans try to analyze everything. So, while
Europeans are thinking about it, Americans are getting all the
patents.
However, when it comes to so-called "safety" they can be really silly,
and the situation seems reversed.

First time I visited the US, I was driving around in my rental car,
when suddenly all the traffic around me stopped.
I couldn't see any traffic lights, or cops, or ambulances or anything
out of the ordinary, so I just kept on driving.

After the same occurance repeated itself a few times, in different
towns, I realized that they were stopping because a school bus, on the
opposite side of the street, was lit like a christmas tree, flashing
all sorts of red and yellow lights, just because a kid was getting off
the bus. Big event!
The odds of the kid suddenly deciding to run into the traffic are like
1 in a million, and from the opposite side of the street probably 1 in
100 million, but still, everyone has to stop because some silly
politicians think it makes a difference.

I see the parallel with the driving directions warning. Even if Google
said "Go play on the freeway", what are the odds of someone actually
doing it?
