I do not know.  Everyone who has reported an issue here with maps,
mouse coordinates, and IE8-only has reported a fix with the <meta>.
I also have a finger in sites running Multimaps API - same problems,
same successful fix.  Other MM users report same.
Draw whatever conclusion from that !
