Hmm, not sure if that's true, care to test?
http://www.vhpa.org.au/Sites/Fossil%20Bluff.html includes two static
maps. Do they show as maps or as 'quota exceeded' pics for you?

I tried to test this earlier via a proxy, but that doesn't work
because the api key is invalid for the proxy site.
