About a couple of weeks ago , an israeli settler (colonist) hit an
injured palestinian man with his car and walked over him again and
again
Today I was translating an essay about this , from Arabic to English
using Google translation , and I was shocked when I realised that
Google translated
اسرائيلى يقتل فلسطينيا
(which means in Arabic that an israeli man kills a palestinian man)
into
israeli killed by palestinians
so , I thought it was an error or something , and tried
اسرائيلى يقتل إنجليزياً
(which means in Arabic that an israeli man kills an english man)
and for my great surprise , it was translated
israeli killed Englishman
lastly , I tried translating
فلسطينى يقتل إسرائيلياً
(which means that a palestinian man kills an israeli man )
and I couldn't know how & why it was translated
Palestinian kills Israeli
I'm - till now - sure that google will not turn a blind eye on this
unethical misusage of a great service like google translation
