Hi TSR,

Strange.  There should be no difference between "Detect language" or
explicitly selecting a language.
Could you give me some specific examples of the text you translate and
what source/target languages when you see the problem?

Also, if any text is selected on the page, we completely disable the
feature while text is selected.  This is done to make sure we stay out
of the way when users are trying to copy text.  Also note, when you
mouse over a phrase, this feature will make it appear selected in
blue, it isn't actually selected in the same way selection of text to
be copied is done, so that might be in part what's confusing you.  But
if you click and drag, to select the text, an actual text selection
should occur and the feature should go away.

I'm going to double check IE8 on XP now, simply to make sure that
browser is behaving the same as other browsers.
