I "Replied to Author" earlier to your post. Guess I should just
"reply." Here is the error message when tried to sync again:

"Starting sync 7/2/2007 16:21:15
Error: 506 Transport layer failed while sending message to server:
could not open tunnel - failed Could not sync IO: could not open
tunnel - failed Summary Client <- Server Summary Client -> Server"

In the interim since sending my first post I did poke around in the
Advanced Options area of my bb8700g device. I did not knowingly change
any settings, but this is a new error since my first post. Yesterday
when I first attempted to sync I received positive confirmation of
data download, no errors, but do date displayed on my device calendar.
Now I get error and still no data displayed.

I think I must have an incorrect setting somewhere, but have no idea
how/where. Hope you can help.
