Thanks, I don't have noscripts running, but it is Firefox. I don't see noscript in my list of extensions or addons.
Is there another web browser that I can try? On other other hand, surely Firefox should work. I'm using: Firefox 3.0.4 Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Kernel Linux 2.6.24.22-generic GNOME 2.22.3 My computer is an old Sony Vaio PCG-FXA53... probably 6 years old at this point. (I have new Lenovo w/ windows, but I'm using this computer as my experimental subject) And of course, it's the gOS variety. I would be more than willing to try another version of Linux, but this is my first attempt at installing linux and my wireless actually worked! My past attempts sent me back to Windows because of my inability to get wireless working on this old computer. Obviously, I'm a linux newbie, but I'd really like to be able to function in the linux world as a reasonably competent end-user. Then, I won't have to continually chase the latest/greatest PC in order to support the bloat of the Mac Windows world! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
