For what it's worth, we've had at least one occurrence - the Thunderbird announcement - where an email sent only to the "vouched mozillians" list found its way to the usual valley-rag techblogs within hours. So treating "vouched mozillians" as some sort of LDAP security group is not a plan that can be made to work without leaving a lot of scorched earth in its wake.
