It seems fairly simple to agree on the process to establish a level of trust 
(and thanks for clarifying the privileges which you see as related to this 
particular trust metric, that’s very useful).

What feels much harder is figuring out the process to follow when trust is 
broken.  With employees, it’s fairly conventional — management conversations, 
various penalties possible up to firing or even in egregious cases I suppose 
civil suits.  Having those processes “around” means that we rarely have to 
exercise them.  It’d be good to have some feeling as to the ‘sticks’ that match 
the ‘carrots’ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrot_and_stick).
