If you're going to rein in the discussion to talk about just emails, perhaps it makes more sense to use the appropriately-titled thread for that? The Family Responsibility/Web of Trust network proposal is clearly important on its own, and I actually think the discussion platform that would be enabled by it is more important than allowing people to have some more email aliases.
