I would prefer this to overloading module listings with both email
addresses and links to Mozillians profiles, given that the latter
provides the former (along with a variety of other info), and module
listings are already information-dense.
And it's reasonable to expect such community leaders to have at least a
minimally-public profile: name, email address, perhaps IRC nick. This
information is already available for many owners/peers in the module
listings (which often include nicks).
