From the discussion so far, it sounds like: A) The main reason for having a modules page at all is so that contributors can find appropriate reviewers for their patches B) To this end, listing peer/owner bugmail addresses is sufficient, but linking to Mozillians.org profiles is more friendly/welcoming/human C) So that the modules page accomplishes its main goal in A), any owner/peer who chooses to link to her/his Mozillians.org profile should make sure that her/his bugmail is listed and public on her/his profile. Additionally, it might be helpful for Mozillians.org to list "Bugzilla (BMO)" account in the same section as email address and IRC nick.
I haven't been able to really gauge the level of support (or lack of support) for linking Mozillians.org profiles vs just using email addresses. If people are generally in favor of Mozillians.org profile links, we could put a message to owners/peers on the wiki saying something like "Please consider using a link to your Mozillians.org profile (example_link_goes_here) instead of just your bugmail address." If people are more divided, the message could be more like "Please enter your email address ([email protected]) or a link to your Mozillians profile (example_link_goes_here)" A separate issue has been raised - creating a mechanism to audit whether code has received review from an appropriate module peer/owner - which is only somewhat related to the issue that this thread addresses. The connection is that whatever auditing system is created would also probably be responsible for generating the modules page. I think that that is a valuable discussion worth having, but in a separate thread. I'm creating a thread titled "Service to Maintain Module Peer/Owner Information and Audit Check-Ins" for that purpose.
