So I would agree on when Community has been given ownership their has not been a plan or the support to ensure the kind of success the Community might always hope for. In the case of Thunderbird for instance we know the product makes money and that money sits somewhere and we would love to use it for marketing but its unclear who would approve this... Lots of discussion but we never get to the point of success because such things are unclear.
Also for things like creative we have asked for help to do social media designs for Thunderbird Social Media and told that basically that's not something Mozilla can help out with.
