Michael,

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Unfortunately, it appears you are 
misinformed that Eich's departure was a "forced resignation". Elsewhere 
on the governance list[1], there was already a discussion about this 
topic, outlining how Eich himself made the decision in question, to 
avert harm from Mozilla going forward.

I hope this helps explain the situation a little better.
