 disregards date constraints when looking for facts for concepts such as
 prior diagnosis.

 I think maybe we (UTHSCSA) did things incorrectly. We linked back to
 identified dates then used them to remove data not in the date range (Jan-
 or-May 2013 to May 2014). So we removed NAACCR encounters where date of
 diagnosis was not in the date range, even if the patient had another tumor
 in the date range. Seems like we should only have removed data for
 patients with no tumor in the date range. Is this correct?
