Yes. Gary mentioned it in the data strategy call this morning. Here is the
last correspondence from Lena Swander regarding this.
{{{
Hi all,
These two additional criteria were added based on conversations in late
2015 with site leads (a survey was sent out and discussion occurred over
calls):
9. Exclude those not currently taking aspirin
10. Exclude those on Prasugrel (Effient)
When the conversation shifted towards query development and need to inform
the dev team, information was sent through trac
(https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/263#comment:28)
and provided at an earlier time points on the GPC ADAPTABLE e-newsletters.
I thought this information had been well disseminated, but it seems there
is still some confusion.
Based on recent conversations with Drs. Roe, Rosenthal, and Gupta, I think
we should bring this up on the site lead call (tomorrow, 3/10/16,
10-11AM). Gary, if you would still like me to work with Nick Smith here to
get numbers with and without the prasugrel exclusion, please let me know.
Best,
Lena Swander

I am not sure what came out from the discussion yesterday(03/10) in the
site lead call regarding this. Our site lead Dr.Gupta confirmed that there
is no need to change ADAPTABLE query at this time with the Prasugrel
exclusion. I have no confirmation about Aspirin yet.
Yes. It is my understanding(from my prior conversations with Lena) that
the "current aspirin" is a work around for sites that can't exclude
aspirin allergies. At KUMC, we were able to exclude the aspirin allergies.
I am inclined to wait till I get a confirmation from our site lead before
I make any further changes to the query.
