Unfortunately I use Locum Only HTML and jpg are recognised in the Documents
section.
I would need to convert the email to one of these formats for it to work for us.
With the help of colleagues here on GPCG, I can use Thunderbird, decrypt with
enigmail, place attachments into a folder, then if they are Word or rtf files
convert them to HTML and then copy them to the Scan Module which can then import
them into Scan Documents and match to a particular doctor. It would then come up
in the Doctors Inbox.
Currently Argus won't work for Locum as the Scan Documents section does not
recognise PIT files (The pathology section does it perfectly)
Maybe the enhancements for Argus in the future where it can be read in rtf (or
prod, prod HTML format) would help us.
If I cut and pasted the email, I could put it in the progress notes but I would
prefer correspondence to be in the Scan Documents section.
If there was a simple way of converting the text of the body of an email to HTML
or jpg, this would help us here.
