Ian, I have made many posts about my transition from MD2 to 3 which went absolutely without a hitch after good preparation and superlative support.
I wouldn't go back (in fact have compared them side by side) and it is chalk and cheese as far as I am concerned. Feel free to email me privately as I have repeated my experience many times on this list and Nat Div and am concerned about boring everyone to tears. On our short list: * MD3/pracsoft has the advantage of familiarity - which users seem to want to gravitate towards * Genie when we last asked a couple of months ago couldn't import medication lists from MD; users are a bit scared of the quirky interface * Best Practice has long term risks associated with longevity in the market * others have failed to impress It's looking more like the devil you know versus the devil you don't and the dollars weigh heavily in some minds and advertising seems not a concern to others. What I would like is: * stories from switchers - good or bad * cost justification of alternatives to MD - preferably quantifiable productivity gains Any help greatly appreciated.....
