Ok, so private-billing is good. Fine. Now would one of you silvertails mind describing how the process actually works? What does the patient sign? when? I take it you don't print the invoice yourselves in your office, how do you communicate to the receptionist what items to put on the invoice?

we are using best practice and whatever the beta billing prog is (dunno, i'm not sysadmin)

you press the button for an item number (23/36/44), and you can leave it at default (full) pricing, or with a drop down menu modify price to be options :
b*b* rounded up to nearest $5
"gap" for lesser item added to next item (essentially if you exceed 20minutes, then the option is to up it to an item 36, but the patient contribution is under $5 more than they would pay for item 23) choose any dollar value for the consult, which will be invoiced as item whatever is set, but charged according to benevolence or irritation value as desired

the patient signs the eftpos docket

they talk to m*c*; our input ends with their invoice

my tail isn't silver btw; i just obviously work differently to you, and it works for me
