AHML has the ability to submit messages for testing online via the Web which is a free facility. This we have done, and our messages (that are designed to be compliant), are compliant.

However to get 'certification' AHML charge a fee (it was about $5000 last time I asked) and when we looked at all the HL7 message-types that we transport, we just couldnt afford the cost.

Knowing that we were compliant was good enough for us.
