Me thinks that Vince and Mitchell from ausgp.com have over reacted in
that from what I can see they run a forum with appropriate guidelines.
My original message was intended as constructive comment for Joe
Bloggs’s new list/forum users as the lists “guidelines” on its opening
screen are very different to the AusGP list and most other similar lists.
There is no threat in my message and it ought not be threatening to
people acting lawfully.
If the cost in time and money are a problem then so be it, but rest
assured that appropriately run lists are not perceived by HCN to be a
threat.
I would be appreciative if you could pass this message onto both Vince
and Mitchell as I have no contact details for them.

Due to a recent public statement on another forum by a leading
Australian medical software vendor threatening potential legal action
against any site hosting forums discussing their software, we have
disabled the AusGP forum. We apologise for any inconvenience either
the comments on this forum or the removal of this service may have
caused anyone.
We will await the outcome of this discussion on this other site as to
whether the AusGP forum will be returning. As we have always
maintained - AusGP is privately owned and developed/run in our own
time. We are truly sorry that this has occurred but the risk of legal
