Hi All,

Currently rounding out an article on secure messaging and have a few
questions that I'm hoping may spark some inspiration and some interesting
discussion for the list.

Brief responses to some or all of these questions will be most helpful (I
won't be quoting anyone without permission - off-list responses are fine
too).

1. Is anyone aware of a lab that doesn't offer messages in HL7?

2. Is anyone in a practice where the number of result downloading programs
has recently consolidated? What prompted this and what solution was adopted?

3. Are GP list members making any headway with the task of getting
specialists to adopt secure messaging products? Is low specialist
uptake/interest the major stumbling block preventing secure messaging from
proliferating in your area?

4. What secure messaging solutions are you using and what factors influenced
this decision?

5. For practices that are using secure messaging solutions, has the initial
time/financial investment paid off yet? If no, what timeframe do you
anticipate this occurring?

6. What questions haven't I asked that I should have?

Finally, if people are aware of Australian centric articles in the public
domain that have covered similar ground, directions would be gratefully
received.

All the best,
Simon
