If I was starting over, I would be very tempted to use Alerce software ( http://220.245.88.131/PublicMain.do ). Do you think that GP practices can run the risk that the broadband connection drops out? Perhaps it is only going to happen if a backhoe digs up the wrong cable, and perhaps that is a lesser risk than have a server go down.
