we've been discussing this for eons without resolution
2.1.15 Integration with external systems and applications
This CMS must interact with existing medical software. Mechanisms for
achieving this must be fully documented and based where possible on
open or
industry standards, or in consultation with clinical software
developers and the
management group. It is envisaged that this will be XML with clinical
indexes.
Support for Electronic Decision Support standards is a likely future
requirement.
