i am a windoze (2000 and xp) user, with occasional linux dabbles, but
all 3 laptops in the house are venerable macs, a powerbook from last
century, and 2 ibooks (g3 and g4) - all run os-x and they make windows
look very clunky by comparison, especially considering the low end
specs, although it helps that all the hardware is matched and optimised
if i wasn't such a rev-head for overclocking desktop machines and
gaming, i'd probably like macs there too
they even run firefox and thunderbird and open office very nicely... if
only they could accept that a single button controller is too stupid for
words
