If you mean sharing an iTunes library over LAN there are plenty of third party implementations of Rendezvous/Bonjour music sharing. However, the newest version of iTunes adds an as yet un-engineered encryption layer which prevents other applications accessing new iTunes libraries.
If you mean importing an iTunes database into a third party app, songbird does have a plugin to do this, and maybe when it finally comes out of pre-alpha you could use it.
