What I was trying to get at I guess is.
Is this a forum for one eyed Linux zealots or is it a forum for the discussion of aust medical apps ??? It gets a bit boring sometimes and I am not a person who uses windows exclusively all day everyday. Hell I'm even trying Firefox at the moment but it seems a little light on feature wise. The browsing history sucks. The inability to add sites to a trusted zone is getting tedious. But the speed is awesome, just like Netscape back when I was using OS/2 and Win3.11 And I love my Linux based Snapgears aka Cyberguard firewalls and have done for 6 years now. I'm surprised there hasn't really been any mention of lack of tested medical apps for Vista, the upcoming release of BP accounting which will hopefully replace PS3 wholesale and rid us of its special way of adding up dollars. Is everyone to scared to critise HCN anymore ? Instead whenever someone mentions Windows or a Microsoft product they get shouted down by Linux advocates telling them how much better Linux is. Somewhat tedious and explains why I neglect to participate from time to time. Anyone else feel the same ? So that seems to cover 90% plus of Australian doctors, about which we are talking on this forum are we not ? Not at all, I'd say around 50% are absolutely dependent on Win32. So does your comment not sound a little out of place here Peter ? I think not. You should know better than most that MSSQL is a pig to work with compared to any of these other engines. The way forward need not be encumbered by MS only, there is plenty of room for at least three operating systems and more database engines, and they are all entitled to an advocate or two. Come on, how far does that ship have to sink before you'll look at an alternative method of transport? Peter.
