How will most Divisions, with no, little or decreasing IM&T staff time and expertise support a range of clinical products
Why should Divisions be providing support for any software packages? This is surely the role of the vendors of those packages, or of any other third party support organisations that practices want to use and pay for themselves. I strongly believe that Divisions should *not* be providing support for any software packages, partly because they can't support all of the packages (clinical and non-clinical) that GPs use and also because I believe that Divisions should concentrate on doing things that no other organisations can do for GPs.
