I might as well be in the country - Medical IT support here in Canberra
is pathetic. I had a good look before I chose to use Peter M instead. I
had no doubts about his skills but was understandably hesitant to ue a
Brisbane based IT company to support me in Canberra. there was just
no-one of their calibre (AFAIK) locally and to be fair they have been
very good in their support. Does however mean that I end up doing all
the local stuff and once it is ready contact them to tweak things
T
Thinus,
An extreme example of why I worry about GPs moving onto the new
technologies.
Despite what Cedric suggests, most Division IM&T people have nothing to
do with providing technical support anymore, except in the bush, and
most Divisions don't even have IM&T programs capacity, certainly in NSW.
The other problem is that there is no gravy train for providing support
in an ethical manner.
