Preferences UI changes plus improved download limiting
Thomas, your UI changes appear to be fine on my system. Very nice.
When your patch came through I was just putting some finishing touches to
download.py which hopefully addresses some of Jerome's concerns in comment #13
and comment #15. I have attached a new patch with these changes.
I feel it is probably OK to commit to SVN so that we can get further testing
from the community.
