The menu option is also logical in the sense that views are ordered from the most general to the least general. Now, do you think it would make sense to complete the circle and implement the aggregate channel as well? It would allow all (played or unplayed) episodes to be collected in the same view, and eliminate the need to click through the channels separately. Are you still of the opinion that it would be too complicated for most users? If that's the case, then maybe that feature could be enabled from the view menu, or advanced preferences only.
