Instead of separating 'turn' from 'slight left' we could move the 'turn' into 'slight left' and have a combined key ala:
turn_slight_left etc instead of turn + slight_left Would this fix your problem? I can imagine that other languages have the same problem. Then this has to be done for the involved keys: left, right, slight_left, slight_right, sharp_left and sharp_right and for all languages. And the old keys should be deprecated but not removed until we integrated this.
