Ranjith,

You are raising this allegation repeatedly, i.e; Greenyouth is a
'progressive' space. Who claimed so?

For me it is not something in finsihed shape, but in the process of
becoming. That is the beauty and danger of it. Everybody have the right/
responsibility to decide what it is.. Ranjith seems to be demanding [only]
others to be responsible .

Well, one could bring in reasons for anything and everything
unendingly. So, in a situation/ space where different selves are coming
together [ that itself negates your allegation that this is a
'progressive' space] I can't understand what is so 'reactionary'
in raisng moral questions.[ It is simply disgusting for me to realise that
somebody is taking me as a 'means to an end'. When one reduces other to mere
means , by that same procedure s/he become privileged. Thus what Ranjith is
trying to achieve through rationalisations, to my mind, is nothing but
legitimacy to his
superior position. You are using 'Dalit" as social/ cultural/symbolic
capital to this end. In that sense, you are true, this is not a
nonheirarchical space!!]

One sense in which I raise the issue of politics of academic knowledge
production is concerned with the question, 'Who exactly is speaking'. Are
you reducing others to 'respondents' etc..
