A good move, you should aplogise. Actually we all should apologise.
Not only to GP, but to other comrades also and the party.

Why are you all demanding an explanation from him? Is in't it okay to
ignore the local trivias, when there are serious burning affairs in
the world? Let us think of Global warming. Human beings are in threat
as a species. May be some of us have grown to a point where they donot
feel about the local, small issues. Like for example Jayati Ghosh,
Prabhat Patnaik and many other intellectuals did not want to comment
on some small killings and few rapes in Nandigram; they spent their
valuable time and energy in explaining the threat of imperialism. And
Bengal and kerala are the only states where imperialism is resisted.
We have to see how party is struggling to not let the forces come in.
It is very difficult even for Achudanandan, though he comes from a
trade union.

A communist is one who oppose imperialism, and that is a western
thing, you know!. After all the state is run by the party. And whether
it is VS or pinarayi they are malayalis. And all land should go to
them. We ought to think of things in the larger context as Prakash
Karat and Vrinda thinks. There are big international moves happening
to take away Kerala. And the multi national companies, neo liberalism,
market oriented capitalism, privatisation, GM products etc etc are
there to fight with.
