Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean by that... But it's a very good introduction to another topic we must discuss: the output. What I thought was an output similar to the Graduale Triplex: one line of traditional square notation with lines; and above this line, another line of ancient notation, without line.

What kind of output would you wish? There are severals one can think about:

1. square notation with ancient notation above, no line

2. no square notation and only ancient notation, with no line

3. no square notation, only ancient notation
3.1 with one or two lines (not really complex)
3.2 with four lines

4. square notation with ancient notation above, with some lines

5. square notation with one notation without line above, and one notation without line below (more complex, but still doable)

etc.
