So I posted a msg and I think it went to the wrong place. Anyway, I have a similar problem. I installed growl on a brand new mac running Lion and I noticed that I havent seen a single notification for about a week (I'm able to see theme previews).
I decided to uninstall and reinstall with no success. Growl has yet to display a single notification, I've tried several extensions ie. growlsafari, mail, burn, hardware, and vlc to name a few. If someone can help solve this issue it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the program says its running and showed up in the activity monitor as well. I have since uninstalled it again entirely. Thanks.
