I got one for my engine before the transplant.
Was working fine, if you're interested send me an email.
You're in Perth too right?
Cheers,
Al

Subject: [GSR_EVO] Idle Control Unit

Hey All,

Got a problem with the idle in my GSR.

Symptoms are that the revs tend to drop below 500rpm when at idle, and
there is a worse drop when radiator fan comes on or aircon or all
accessories (lights, demisters, wipers ect)

I don't think its alternator related as I checked that a while back.

So what I would like to know is can you get the Idle Control unit
repaired/re-conditioned? as a bit of a browse on the net displays
prices of $195 for non gen replacements.

Could an alternator/starter motor reconditioning place re-con an idle
control unit?

Thanks :)

Mimmo
