In the Great White North, we love the kimpex snowmobile kit (about $20
Canadian, and if you watch at Canadian Tire you'll get them cleared for
way less to make room for summer gear). I have it on the GTS & the
KLR. The really cold places in Canada sell grip heaters in packages of
three, instead of pairs ;)

On the GTS I got the stock grips off, put on the kimpex kit
(mylar/aluminum film resistor actually) and put the stock grips back
on. I used a different switch with a silicone rubber waterproof boot
(from an autoparts store) because it looked better, don't forget to add
a relay & fuse.

Robert (in Winnipeg my record is up to December 14, and as early as Feb
5...unheard of for here, only January in California....still a couple
more days to bag January in Canada)

Any input on this would be appreciated.
