I have electrical gloves from Giali. I have a connector hanging near the
steer. The other end is directly coupled (by a fuse) to the battery. There
is no regulator and I don't miss it yet (but I ordered one and it's laying
waiting for me at the store). It's not that cold now (about zero degrees)
but they work nice.
The D-cell powerd once I know (for skiing) are only heating the fingertips.
The Giali heats the whole hand.
I also have heated grips and You don't see nor feel a difference with normal
grips. They are as thick and as soft. I don't have the normal handle bars
but I have a high steer from sidebike (high like on a goldwing ect. There is
a picture on the homepage of John Dreuning (also on this list)of my steer)
